I love old red and white china, and these small bowls are real beauties. Made of heavy and durable ironstone or restaurant ware, they sport a red transferware design.
Two red and white berry bowls by Syracuse China, made in the USA. The delightful pattern is called "Strawberry Hill." Charming bowls to add to an ever-growing farmhouse kitchen crockery collection.
Cream or antique white with a pretty design of wine or raspberry red. One bowl is a little lighter in coloring. The bowls have a feminine, scalloped edge. No chips or cracks. Expect to find some scratches and utensil marks, light staining or scuff marks, and a few manufacturing irregularities common with old restaurant ware and ironstone china. The bowls have normal vintage surface and finish wear. In good condition. Each bowl measures 4 5/8" across and 1 1/2" in height. They are fruit, dessert or sauce bowls.
